Hair: Longish and Black

Eyes: a nice, deep shade of purple

Complexion: Seems rather pale.

Build: Scrawny as you could imagine.

Attire: A rather dirty purple suit.

Vocals: Most of the time, when he speaks, he sounds almost like he’s laughing but he can sound very serious and intimidating whenever he feels like it.

Personality: For the most part seemingly bastardly and cynical, but he actually cares about people, especially his clients. He can be very concerned, but for the most part he's usually laughing at something. Actually, he's a pretty good drinking buddy. Lucky for you he's often found reeling drunk on the floor of some Tavern somewhere.

Sexuality: Hetrosexual, he doesn’t really do the homo thing.

Strengths: He’s very good at his policy of no bullshitting, and also at making everything seem more dramatic than it is. He’s actually very nice to talk to…

Weaknesses: …but more often than not the people he talks to leave either depressed or pissed off. He’s completely useless at fighting, although he can hold his own for a little while. He can yell pretty loudly, and run pretty fast for such a scrawny fellow. Not that that matters when the only kind of person that would bother attempting to beat him up tend to have bigger muscles than him.

Abilities

Active: Mind reading(It’s more like he just actively hears thoughts, he tunes it out most of the time unless he hears something really funny. Then he’ll probably laugh at you. There might be a couple of exceptions to this – For example, I’m assuming Germy is exempt and some daemons are probably immune. But other than that, he does it continuously and you should get over it goddammit. Unless you actually have a good reason for Valjean not to read your mind. In that case go ahead, be exempt XD)

Passive: Can also mess with people’s heads, i.e. drive them insane or make them forget things. Thankfully he usually does not do this unless he feels immense need to, and he needs to concentrate to do this. So if someone’s wailing on him and he wants them to stop, he can’t just make them stop. However, if someone is about to wail on him he might be able to manage it, but really, he usually waits until the last minute which is a bad thing for him XD
Oh yes, he can also make people do things but it’s very easy to resist unless he’s already friggen cleared your head out.

And yes, he does have a good sense of the future, but it never appears very clearly to him. He’s pretty good at reading fortunes, and will often offer his services for free because he damn well feels like it.

Well, I'm going to say that it's alright for a few reasons.

1.) The character's psychic abilities are really his only strong suit. It's not like he's got a ton of other physical strengths to rely on. And I like that.

2.) It's interesting, and doesn't seem like it would be easy to powerplay, since you can only read the thoughts of someone who has already posted their thoughts to you. xD

3.) Your sample RP shows that you know what you're doing and how you're going to RP this, so I've got faith in ya.
