Full Name:
Shiloh Dawn Appiah

Nicknames:
Shy.
That is it.
---
Age:
Two hundred and ninety six.
Appears in her late teens, or early twenties.
---
Birthday:
August Twenty Seventh
---
Race:
Vampire
---
Gender:
Female
---
Appearance-
Hair; Dark Black. Goes to about the middle of her back, and it is usually tied at the bottom, to keep it out of her way.
Eyes; Cloudy Blue.
Complexion; Black as the night. No, I'm not talking brown, she's actually black black.
Build; She is very muscular, and she has broad shoulders. She is still pretty feminine in appearance, just... not so much as the rest of the ladies.
Attire; Shy wears white. Be it dresses, pants, trousers, or leggings, Shiloh is a big fan of white. Sure she will wear other colors, but white is her favorite. Usually she wears dresses, but light dresses. She isn't a fan of the shoes, but she will wear them if necessary.
Vocals; Shiloh has sort of a deep voice. It's not masculine sounding- not at all- it's just deeper than the average woman's. Her voice is actually hard and stern, only softening up when she actually means to soften up. Which isn't very often. But, it isn't cruel sounding at all, despite the hardness.
Shiloh is a very stern looking woman. She isn't particularly tall- not being short, either, but she is broad, and very muscular. Despite this, she has a certain soft feel about her. Her hair is long and black, and very soft, and it is usually tied off at the end, just to keep it out of the way, and so that it doesn't catch on anything. She has very dark skin, which contrasts rather harshly, but perfectly at the same time, with her light eyes, and the white attire that she usually chooses to wear. She has a button nose, almond eyes, which are a very light blue colour, and pearly white teeth.

Personality:
Shiloh doesn't like to open up to people that she doesn't know. She has trust issues, and even if she is the best of friends with someone, she wouldn't fully trust them. Of course, if she had gotten to know someone very well, she would probably be a little more trusting, but she doesn't make friends easily.
She is not mean by nature, but she can be a rude some times, and not even realize it, making her seem even more rude. She really means nothing by it, though, so one shouldn't take her so seriously. But- other times she is very nice, and the kindness comes from her heart.
But she can be a monster. A big monster. It's really to be expected, seeing as she's a vampire. But this rarely occurs.
---
Sexuality:
Heterosexual.
---
Strengths:
Shy responds well to pressure, probably working her best when she's being put under a lot of stress. When she panics, she responds better and her senses tweak, making her more aware of her surroundings.
She is also very strong- and her appearance can be intimidating.
Border lining genius, Shiloh is very smart- she takes her knowledge seriously, and she's very studious.
---
Weaknesses:
Shiloh broke her leg when she was younger, and it never properly healed, leaving her to limp. She can't run very fast because of this, and it slows her down. She also has a rather nasty tendency to trip on her own feet, clumsiness, if you will, which leaves her covered in bruises and nicks and cuts here and there.
She can come off as rude when she's not trying to be, which scares people off some times.
---
Abilities-
Active:
She has mediumship- the ability to see and use the spirits to her will, which takes quite a deal of energy from her, and she only uses it on occasion, preferring brute force.
She also has the rather unfortunate gift of empathy, which is useful at times, but gets her caught up in the stickiest situations sometimes. (i.e. She'd be caught crying for no reason if someone around her was sad, etc.)
Passive:
Power Storage-
If she evades throwing a blow for a few minutes, and stores her energy, she can release it in a rather powerful string of attacks.
Weapons: A very sharp sword with a small diamond in the hilt. She actually, really only keeps it for decoration, but uses it on occasion.
---
Animal Form: A small blackbird.

History:
Shilah was born in the small village of Appiah-Kembah, named after the families who founded it. Shiloh was the youngest daughter of the High Chief Nowkoh Sasnoninah Appiah, the wife of Chief Sasoninah Yuma Kemba-Appiah. She had three sisters, Lylah, Ballah, and Hamarah. Her brothers were Konoh, Tohoh, and Jontoh.
Shiloh was supposed to be a boy.
She was supposed to be the High Chiefs heir, and the leader of Appiah-Kembah, as tradition states that the youngest of the children becomes the heir at age sixteen. But of course, Shilah was a girl. But that didn’t stop her mother and father from raising her to be a leader. Her given name was Shilah, but her parents quickly changed it to Shiloh, as tradition also states that the leader, no matter what gender, should always have the name of a man.
So Shilah became Shiloh, and she was trained in the ways of the warrior, and took the role of a man,
But things took a turn for the worse.
Strange people came to their village. At first, they seemed kind enough, but Shiloh didn’t trust them. Not. One. Bit. In fact, Shiloh actually tried her best to drive them away, but their leader and her father were discussing things. ‘Things,’ that may have concerned her.
Shiloh was outraged, and with that, the fourteen-year-old girl ran, as far as she could possibly go. Which wasn’t very far, because she took a nasty fall, broke her leg, and was shipped back to Appiah-Kembah, where she learned she was to be married to the greedy, strange-looking, and all together gross man.
Shy, he called her.
Shiloh hated him. She hated him with all of her life and being, and she hated that he loved her so much. She tried to escape, but she failed. Miserably.
The man arranged to take Shiloh back to his own town. A miserable town. Disgusting. Bleak.
Dark.
It wasn’t so bad, though. Kray, the man who was now her ‘husband,’ (although she didn’t consider him her husband at all.) Gave her everything she needed, and she made a friend. An old blind woman named Marni. Marni was kind to her, and promised her many things in return for her company. Kray had no knowledge of this woman, but when he found out, he forbade Shiloh from meeting with her.
Shiloh complied.
Marni died the next day. Shiloh was devastated, and the deep hatred of Kray bloomed within her again.
However, she did not know that Kray was… different.
Very different, indeed.
Trying to escape was a bit of a problem with him, and in the dead of night, Kray came, and sucked her of her blood until she fainted, and cut himself, dropping a few scarlet drops in her mouth.
When she woke up, she was somehow changed.
Somehow.
What she noticed firstly was that Kray and his minions were gone. What she noticed secondly that was she was in a shack instead of a mansion, and she was somewhere completely different, somewhere that looked completely different.
What she hadn’t realized was that she’d been a sleep for about three hundred years. The mansion had decayed around her, and she was confused and alone, and different.
That is where she is today.

Sample Post:
“Shiloh? Is your name Shiloh? Can you come down please? I want to speak with you…”
The old voice croaked into the darkness, signaling for the young girl.
“Ma’am?” She asked, folding her hands and walking into the darkened room. “Why are there no lights in here? It is… dark…” She said. She heard a chuckle from the other side of the room. “Yes. It is very dark.” Shiloh blinked and walked further into the room. She reached into one of her pockets and found a little match. The last of the ones she had been lighting candles with. She struck it and a sudden flicker of flame illuminated the room. She found a candle and lit it. “Who are you?” She asked.
“My name is Marni. I live here…” She said.
Shy saw at once that she was a very old woman. Very old. Older than the oldest villager in her old village. “Shiloh.” She replied. “What do you want?” “I want to meet you.” The woman replied.
“Why?” Shiloh replied. Marni chuckled. “Well, because I’m lonely. When I heard there was a new person in town, I wanted to meet you.” She smiled, a very beautiful smile, despite there being only two teeth in her mouth.
Shiloh giggled. “I like you. But... I should go...” She said, and Marni smiled again. “Well, the feeling is mutual. Why don’t you visit me sometime again?”
Shiloh nodded, and turned to leave. “Goodbye Miss Marni,” She said, smiling at her new friend.
