Full Name:
Mr. David Caldwell and Miss Lillian Halloway.
That's it.
---
Nicknames:
Nothing. Never, ever call them by any nickname. Ever.
On occasion, David lovingly refers to Lillian as “Lilly,” or “Lilly Bird,” but he has special privileges.
---
Age:
Mr. Caldwell is a little older than Miss Halloway.
Miss Halloway is a little younger than Mr. Caldwell.
They are both about two-hundred years old.
---
Birthday:
They were both completed on April the Fourth.
---
Race:
Animated Puppets
---
Gender:
Mr. Caldwell is Male.
Miss Halloway is Female.
---
Appearance-
Hair;
Mr. Caldwell: He had very neat black hair, that is usually hidden by a black stovepipe hat. A rather menacing stovepipe hat.
Miss Halloway: She had short chocolate brown hair, that is usually flipped up at the sides. She pushes it behind her ears quite frequently.
Eyes;
Mr. Caldwell's eyes are very light blue, almost clear in fact, and they are very big. Pretty big, not weird big. They sparkle in the light, like glass, and they are very shiny.
Miss Halloway has two black hollows where her eyes are supposed to be- or once were.
Complexion;
They are both as pale as porcelain, with skin that glows in the moonlight. Miss Halloways has two pink circles on her cheeks, signifying blushing.
Build;
Mr. Caldwell is tall, and muscley. He is actually pretty lanky, but the natural muscle of his arms and legs kind of take away from that fact, drawing more to his handsome tallness, and lovely figure.
Miss Halloway is a little shorter, with a fuller figure, and natural curves. She is still pretty tall, and lanky, but her lankiness is a lot more noticeable, due to her womanliness. Her waist is also unnaturally thin, deformed, even, due to her wearing corsets her entire life.
Attire;
Mr. Caldwell wears black dress pants, and a black wool coat. His shirt is white, and he wears a black tie with little silver dots. The coat has silver buttons and goes just a little bit above his ankles. He wears a black stovepipe hat, and carries a black and white cane with two silver rings around the middle.
Miss Halloway wears a powder blue dress with white lace on the top and little white embroidered flowers on the lace. She wears a small blue corset, and black boots. Her dress has poofy sleeves, and a little bow on the neckline.
Vocals;
Mr. Caldwell sounds menacing. His voice is gruff and scratchy, and it’s always usually in some whispery tone that makes it even more menacing. Although his voice is menacing, he usually means nothing by it, and people who know him know that.
Miss Halloway’s voice is much different. It’s soft and fluffy, and just as whispery as Mr. Caldwell’s, but different. It sounds calming and sweet, not menacing like his. When she speaks however, she speaks with authority and dignity, to make her self-confidence known to others.
Mr. Caldwell and Miss Halloway are perfect in every way, shape, and form. Aside from Miss Halloway's peculiarly missing eyes, and the crack in her back, (literally,) they are beautiful. Their skin is porcelain, their nails paint, their hair string, and their eyes glass. Mr. Caldwell is tall, very tall, and muscley. He has pale skin, clear blue eyes, and a deep smile. His clothing usually consists of all black, and he never goes anywhere at all without his stovepipe hat.
Miss Halloway is very different. The shorter of the pair, she is still as pale, but on her cheeks, two very prominent pink circles, signifying a blush of some sort, and no eyes. Where her eyes are supposed to be, there are two black hollow circles. They must have been there before, but were probably taken out some time long ago. She seems to see fine despite this. She has a rather large scar on her back, which looks oddly like a crack of some sort. She is tall, and lanky, and her waist is unusually deformed- it’s shaped like an hourglass, and it is too thin, due to the fact that she grew into a corset. This makes a few complications with breathing, seeing as her heart is too small, and her lungs are too long. Apart from the fact that she has no eyes, her cheeks are defined with pink circles, and she has a deformed waist, she looks relatively normal.

Personality:
Mr. Caldwell is insane.
Really, really insane. He doesn’t like being around people, and he’s unusually irritable, snapping out and lashing out at unsuspecting people if they so much as look at him or his companion with an odd gaze, which happens quite frequently. To only the people he knows, and trusts, is he even so much of an inkling of nice. To Miss Halloway, however, he is kind and gentle. That is why if anyone decides to mess with her, he goes all out and tries to kill them. Well… maybe not kill them, but he becomes extremely violent, and despite people’s best efforts to settle him, he won’t be calmed until the person that has wronged him in some way or another apologizes or leaves his sights.
Miss Halloway, on the other hand, is kind and sweet, gentle and loving. Her joy and niceness kind of cancel out her partner’s rather sullen disposition, and they are a rather good pair. She is kind of shy, but despite this, talks when needed to, and answers questions. She is usually seen with her arm intertwined in Mr. Caldwell’s, and she goes wherever he goes. They are pretty much a package deal.
---
Sexuality:
They are both Heterosexual
---
Strengths:
Mr. Caldwell is very good at mind games. For what he lacks in physical and brute force, me makes up for in mental and psychological knowledge.
Miss Halloway is good at figuring people out. For what she lacks in physical and mental strength, she makes up in her understanding of people and animals.
---
Weaknesses:
Being puppets, they are stiff and don’t move well. They both can’t run very fast, and despite Mr. Caldwell’s muscley appearance, he is rather weak.
Miss Halloway has a small heart, and deformed, long lungs, so she can’t breathe very well, and when she does breathe hard, she risks fainting. So, pretty much a no-no on the whole, physical activity thing for them. She has a crack in her back that is very painful at times, too.
Oh, and they’re puppets. Made out of porcelain.
They can break.
---
Abilities-
Active:
If needed, they can perform a ‘Puppet String,’ attack, disabling their enemy just long enough for them to flee.
Miss Halloway can also tell feelings of people just by looking at them. She sees naught their physical appearance, but their very souls.
Actually, she can just see their auras. What colour they are indicates their feeling. She can see them.
Passive:
They can turn back and forth into puppets that are animated, and humanoid, into puppets with a rather cartoony appearance. This takes about ten minutes to complete, both into and out of, but they can stay that way for however long they’d like.
Weapons:
Mister Caldwell has a cane with two silver rings on it. The rings are rather sharp, and if needed, he can swing it and use it as a weapon. Also, he can throw his hat at people.
…
It causes virtually no damage what-so-ever, but it’s funny!
Miss Halloway has a small silver dagger which she conceals under one of her lace over-dresses.
---
Animal Form:
Do puppets count as animals?
---
History:
Mister Caldwell and Miss Halloway were created as a set. Two porcelain puppets, very fragile, but very beautiful. Their maker was a rather odd toymaker from Mas-Massenburg, north or northeast quite a ways from Nox. He made them for a little girl of some nobility who was currently staying in Nox for some reason or another. But that was a long time ago. So, he put them into a box, Mister Caldwell with his stovepipe hat and cane, and Miss Halloway with her curls and corset. They matched perfectly.
When they arrived at the manor of the little girl, she was very displeased with her gift. Puppets weren’t fun, she had told them, and she grabbed Miss Halloway and threw her to the ground, leaving a large crack in her fragile, porcelain back. The toymaker was ashamed, the little girl was ashamed, Mister Caldwell and Miss Halloway were ashamed. But most of all, they were hurt.
They were left in the manor to rot. For years! But then, one evening, when the two were contemplating life, something happened. Something strange. They were transformed by some odd magic, into two humans. Well, human-like things. They still looked like themselves… only… humaner?
It didn’t matter, because from now on, they were free! Free to do what they wanted; free to live their lives…
Free to wander around aimlessly around the town for hours before someone pointed them in the direction of an inn. Yes, this is how life panned out for years, wandering to and fro, and suddenly everything clicked into place.
Mister Caldwell and Miss Halloway were meant to do something. It wasn’t every day puppets became human-like, now was it? Now they needed a purpose. They needed something to grasp on to, to make their lives purposeful, to make them worth something. They tried to escape Nox, tried in vain, and they tried to find what they were meant for.
Desperately.
But, alas, it was all in vain.
The two are still trying to find out what they are meant for, but have set up a rather successful business of selling roasted chestnut on corners. Yum.

Family:
NO FAMILY.
Sample Post:
“Mister Caldwell, are you feeling alright?” The small voice came from the woman that was standing beside the man. She seemed to be speaking to him. “Hm…? Oh, yes… I’m fine. Dandy.” He said. He sighed and squeezed the small woman’s arm. “It’s cold tonight…” The woman nodded. “Do you need to go inside somewhere?” The woman shook her head, and as if nature was contradicting her, let out a slow, strenuous cough. The man lifted his brow slightly.
“David, I am perfectly fine.” The woman smiled a bright smile. “If you insist, love.” He sighed, and let go of her arm, taking his coat off and putting it around the woman. “David…” “Aw, Lilly, it’s cold.”
Lillian smiled at the man, who was now standing in a rather thin shirt, shivering. He stood out like a sore thumb. The black hat that he wore made him at least a foot taller, and he looked very funny. The woman laughed.
David looked at her and raised his brow again. “What is it?” He asked. Lillian shook her head. She grabbed his arm and pulled him close to her, resting her head against his arm and closing her nonexistent eyes. He was cold, and warm, almost at the same time. But that was impossible.
Snow began to lightly fall from the sky. “Aw, damn it all…” The man exclaimed, stomping his foot. “David, please,”
The man looked down at her again, and smiled. “Sorry, Lilly Bird… I don’t like the snow.”
Well, neither did Lillian, but she wasn’t going to throw a fit.
The two stood, arm in arm, tired, and cold. But they were warm, because they had each other.
