Ritual Night

Giving his companion the crowns, Pavren preceeded to go to the merchants and stock up on rope, chains, viles, and extra jars. Stocked up, Pavren went to theo utskirts of the city and prepared for the night.

Pavren arrives in his spot and begins to set up. Night is vastly approaching and he needs ample time to make preparations. He spreads his bag of goodies out and begins to set up. 8 spots are marked for 8 different individuals. Hopefully she can do her job and bring at least eight bodies back. Only 5-6 will "live" but that is enough, Pavren is thinking to himself while getting everything rdy. His makeshift podium in the middle made. Pavren nees to carve out the Slahorne symbol on the ground and connect the eight points.

Pavren lays down the chain he will use for the people and gets ready to connect it to the tree in the middle of the where the ritual will take place. "Everything is coming together bettee than I could have hoped. Exodus will tremble before the great God Slahorne and his acolytes.I will bring upon a curse far greater than any Gypsy curse! They will wish the blotted out sun is all they have to fear! They will fear me!" Pavren exclaims outloud. Realizing this, Pavren continues to prepare for nightfall. There was no reason to draw any attention to himself out here when nothing has come to fruition as of yet.

With night vastly approaching, Pavren continued making his preparations. He is now relying on his friend to come up with her end of the bargain.

[Violet Godfrey]

The horses galloped through the forests, spooked by a presence that even Violet could feel. She smirked - Pavren must be close! The trees grew thicker as the presence grew stronger, until the cart could no longer navigate forward. That was far enough, she thought. Her new partner was very close. A clearing was right in front of her, and looked like something right out of a forbidden book.

She had heard tales of dark magic when she was young from her uncles, who always tried to scare her. If only they could see her now!

"Violet Godfrey, back with the goods!" she announced proudly, stepping just barely into the clearing, careful not to mess up the man's work. "I hope I brought enough back. Is eight enough?" The amount of blood covering her greatly surpassed the amount that she had been wearing the night the two first met. If those last two bitches hadn't been so much trouble...

Hearing horses come up the path Pavren withdrew himself not the woods as to not be seen from the person coming. Upon seeing his friend, Pavren came out of hiding. What he saw pleased him greatly. His friend was covered in blood, bodies were laid in the cart, and they were all alive.

"My dear! Oh what great news you bring! I see you have been hard at work. Come, come! We have not much left to do. Your role is not quite finished yet, but all that you have done has helped greatly!"

Pavren ushered her over to the seals that were carved into the ground. "One body goes on each one of these seals. You brought bodies, I have eight seals. It is most perfect. Once the bodies are laid down, hook them up to these chains. Be sure to secure them, we can't have these people waking up in the middle and running off now can we?"

Pavren walked to the cart and began sliding a body toward a seal. He hooked the young female up to the chains. He pulled on the chains to ensure that they would not budge. "Seven more just like this one my sweets. Once everyone is in place, the ritual will begin, and our lives will be forever changed!" With a loud cackling laugh, Pavren went to the center of the Slahorne insignia and opened the Malice Codicium. All is good my Lord. We will honor you greatly tonight. Give me the power to do what I must. Give me the power to call you my God and to bring life to these poor wretched souls. Blood will be spilt in your name!

[Arianna]

Arianna began to wake slowly, her head throbbing terribly as she reentered the land of the living. Lord almighty did her head hurt. Damn that blood sucking skank. The second arianna got the chance, that little vampire wench was going to get a taste of her steel, make no mistake.

Her pale eyes opened and settled on the sky. Shit....she was outside of the town limits. She had missed all of her deliveries, but more importantly, where the hell was she?! The blacksmith looked around, careful not to move an inch or to be taken notice of as she got a better idea of her surroundings. Hell, she was so quiet and so still no member of the living could have seen she was awake. Right so she was in the forest, that was easy enough to see. She was also in a cart filled with bodies. Ew... oh hell, where was the young woman that had tried to save her earlier?! ever so slightly Arianna moved her eyes, trying to pick out the other woman. Ah, there she was, still on the cart with her. Phew.

But now, what was all this? Crazy set up, skanky vampire, a man and a cart of bodies. This wasn't looking good now was it? The blacksmith would have to think fast if she was to get out of this situation with the other woman. Like hell she was going to stick around to see what she and the rest of these people were needed for.

[Violet Godfrey]

Violet was extremely skeptical about what was going on, and eyed Pavren's book for just a moment. She did her best to hide her expression, slapping on one of semi-faux excitement in its place, looking to drag another body out of the cart.

"Yes sir, you got it."

She was starting to feel kind of funny, though. Tingly. Tingly in her lips and fingers and toes. Strange. It mattered not, though, Violet said to herself as she reached for the familiar woman who had thrown a knife at her. Just the idea made her angry. Her wound from that damn knife had only just started to heal!

[TryÞhaena°Ptolemy]

In one fell swoop, Tryphaena was ripped from her unconsciousness - which had been keeping her occupied with a lovely dream in which she had rabbits - and thrown into unfamiliar surroundings, with someone grabbing onto her and dragging her out of somewhere.

The apothecary screamed as loud as she possibly could.

"Let go of me! Let go of me!" she shrieked, kicking and flailing to the best of her ability. And then she turned her head and saw. "It's you! Let go of me you stupid whore! Let go of me!"

Phae screamed once more, frightened for her very life.

[Arianna]

As Arianna noticed the slutbag vampire going for the woman who had attempted to save her, she decided to act. The woman snapped up and threw a hard kick at the vampire's face, hoping to smash her heavy-duty boots into her nose. Arianna scowled at the vampire, her gaze filled with hatred and anger, communicating a 'how dare you touch her or myself you dirty whore'. The blacksmith wasn't going to let anything happen to herself or her near rescuer, that much was certain.

Pavren was watching as his friend was unloading the cart full of tonight's guests. Glancing over at theheap of bodies, Pavren noticed a slight stir, as if someone was trying to hide. It mattered not, they would all be his pets soon.

All of a sudden one of the women awoke and began screaming. "Stupid bitch, no one can hear you! Scream all you like, its only us and the Gods out here." Another woman begins getting up out of the cart and Pavren notices her land a rather impressive kick to his female friend.

Running over, Pavren begins to speak Daemon in an effort to confuse and put the lady down. The dialect is too complex for a mere human to understand. Glaring at the woman, he knows it must be having an effect.

[Arianna]

Arianna had aimed another kick at the slut bag vampire, hoping to dislocate her jaw in an attempt to get her out of the way long enough to grab the other woman and get the heck out of there.

However seemed that wasn't going to happen as the man in crazy robes approached the cart and started speaking in a tongue she had never heard before. Honestly it just sounded like a bunch of gibberish to the young blacksmith, but as he began to talk she began to feel...off. Like she was drowsy or something, but whatever the feeling was, she couldn't quite put her finger on it.

She continued to struggle, but her fight was dying as he continued to speak, but just because her body was weak, didn't mean her mind wasn't still racing at a million miles a second. Arianna told herself that she would get them out of there, and she wasn't one to make false promises.

[Violet Godfrey]

Violet backed away from the woman in heavy boots, rubbing her sore jaw after more kicks to the face than she had wanted to take. This bitch did not want to mess with Violet Godfrey! Not after how swelled with blood she was. Oh no, she would rip her throat right--

And then, she watched Pavren swoop right in and handle the situation, almost effortlessly, strange sounds coming off of his tongue that made her mind rattle. The noises were unnatural. Sounds that you wouldn't think a human tongue could make, which led her to wonder...

"F*ck... do something really bad with that one. I don't know what you're doing but..." Violet rubbed her jaw again, silently cursing to herself a few more times, "that one's a bitch. Gave me a lot more trouble than the others."

[TryÞhaena°Ptolemy]

"Stupid bitch, no one can hear you! Scream all you like, its only us and the Gods out here."

Well, as long as he was going to give her permission, Tryphaena was going to use it for all it was worth. She screamed as loud as she could manage, wriggling and writhing in her bonds.

"Oh God, oh God, oh God, oh God you're a daemon, oh God, oh God, oh God!"

The man was speaking in tongues and the blacksmith woman who she had tried to help was being pulled into a trance or something, whatever was going on. Phae could feel her heart beating violently inside her chest.

Pavren felt no remorse for the scared humans sitting in front of him. They were puny, but will make fine sacrifices."Yes, 'oh God oh God! Help me!' You pitiful human You know nothing of any Gods. But, I will show you what God can do. I will show what the one true God will do. Slahorne will run rampant in this valley. He will scar this earth for a millenia."

"It is almost dark, get them in place. We have wasted enough time. Oh, and try not to mess that pretty little face up of yours. I'll check on the others."
Pavren went to grab the bumbling idiot of a human by the arm to escort her to her frotn row seat.

This whole situation made Violet feel very, very nervous. Was it all the blood that was making her feel uneasy? Or was it the...

The tingling sensation from moments earlier grew very strong, sending waves of pain up her arms and legs. She felt her face - her lips and cheeks were swollen, and her tongue and gums felt inflamed. What was going on?!

"Oh shit... shit, Pavren, I..."

The vampire trembled in pain, and as she attempted to reach out to the man, she found she was paralyzed, and fell to the ground. What had happened? She was fine earlier!

"The apothecary! The bitch who's screaming! She's an apothecary! She's poisoned!"

And I bit her flesh and drank her blood like it was nothing...! Violet thought woefully.
