History:
Siberius is the fourth child, and only male born to the family. His three older sisters were always annoying him, dressing him up when he was a young child and showing him off to all their friends. He would often hide from them in his small room, or in a hollow tree out in the woods that surrounded the small village.
As he grew older, he found that his strange appearance made others slightly nervous of him, and his shy personality made it hard for him to make friends. He found refuge in books, spending much of his time in the local library, or out in his hollow tree, which his uncle had helped him to carve out a little bench and shelves so that he could stay there in comfort overnight, as he would often lose track of time when he was reading. After a while, he began to bring a bag of nuts out to the tree with him to feed the flying squirrels that hung around. Siberius soon found that he preferred to sit in the tree and meditate and listen to nature around him. The squirrels also came to like him (but that was probably cause he was feeding them more than anything) and one day he found that he could shift into one of them. It took him a while to learn to control his new found power but he eventually managed to, all the while keeping it a secret from everyone else (except from his sister Rachel).
Siberius helped out at the library as he grew older, and the librarian (who was also a book binder) eventually took him on as an apprentice. Life went on pretty much as normal until one day, when Siberius had taken some of his favorite books, as well as some of the older tomes to his hollow tree to repair. He fell asleep and awoke in the middle of the night to the squirrel chittering, warning him of danger. He ran back to the village to find it on fire, his house had already burned down, along with half the village. He helped fight the fire, but in the end, much of the village was burned to the ground, including some of the library.
Many of the villagers left, and Siberius joined his older sisters, having nowhere else to go after losing his parents and Lilian to the fire. He took many of the library books with him at the request of the librarian. Along the way, he became separated from his sisters and began travelling on his own, collecting books. He eventually ended up in Alatus Nox, and has been unable to leave.
