So, you're probably here because you want some responsibility, or you want MORE responsiblity. GREAT! Listed below are a few easy-to-follow, no-brainer rules of asking for promotion, and USING your new GOD-GIVEN POWERS if and when you get promoted!
ASKING FOR PROMOTION[/u][/b]
When ASKING for promotion, please follow the application as much as you possibly can. Do not stray from it, as applications are supposed to be professional, so we can see how serious you'll take your job and not slack.
If you don't get promoted or even responded to in a few days, don't worry. It might take some time 'cause the admins are usually a lil' busy.
The only people who can approve or deny your application are Capella and Shiro.
ALSO NOTE, PLEASE, that there are two types of application forms. There is one for asking for a promotion to be a moderator, and then there is one for asking for a promotion to a higher position such as a Night Watcher. Please use the correct one, as each one has different things to fill out.
IF AND WHEN YOU ACTUALLY GET YOUR PROMOTION[/u][/b]
OMG! Wow. Don't abuse it. If you abuse it, you'll automatically lose your post count and your cool position.
The NUMBER ONE THING that I HATE, that I ALWAYS consider an absolute ABUSE OF POWER is when you
REPLY TO CLOSED TOPICS AFTER I OR ANOTHER ADMIN OR GMOD HAVE ALREADY CLOSED THEM!!![/b]
This is an AUTOMATIC loss of power. Automatic. No questions asked. I HATE it. If you do it once and I reply to your post and ask you to stop and if you POST AGAIN AFTER THAT, even if you're saying "okay", I'M DELETING IT AND TAKING AWAY YOUR POWERS!
I GET THE LAST WORD!

Most of the time I'm pretty good about letting you guys with higher staff positions do stuff. You don't have to ask me if it's okay for you to approve someone's bio, or to close a thread, or something like that. Just go ahead and do it. The point of me giving you a job like that is so YOU can do part of the work and not me. If you have to get an answer from me to do it, I'm essentially doing the work myself. But just be smart about the types of things that you do. If it really should be something that Shiro or I should give permission for, then please ask.
