Personality: A quiet, studious and contemplative man, slow to provoke, but quick to defend. Injustice and wanton cruelty disgusts him, but he would rather persuade than fight if possible. Given occasionally to dark, grim moods, he does his best to keep these swings private, but is not always successful

History: Born to a blacksmith father and a warrior mother, Seth had little choice but to learn to be a master swordsman, or suffer at the hands of his older siblings. Gifted with more speed than they and muscle memory uninhibited by the processes of over thinking, he picked up the fighting skills easily and bested them quickly. He also had another skill which at times inhibited and he could only escape through meditation over the sword, and that was the ability to sense the pain, physical and emotional of those near him, and often and intense concentration of this knowledge catalyzed his depressions.
He grew into a sturdy, loyal and reliable man, assisting healers in easing their patients into death. He had a few passing romances, but never quite settled to building a family as his brothers did, working steadily under his aging father's tutelage in the forge. Until a plague swept the land. His family was destroyed, nearly everyone in the village was afflicted and those that survived never recovered their full health. Only two of Seth's brothers survived, one with his wife, and each with only one child of many left to cling to.
Seth did not survive, but his gift of releasing the pain of others was too rare to let pass, so he was granted continued life, in exchange for service as a reaper. He did not accept out of fear of the beyond, but out of a hope to help others not to suffer as he had in his final hours. Newly come to reaping, he seeks a berth to learn the craft in proper and has found his was to Exodus Town.
